Taking advantage of rumors that he is dating pop star Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce is gaining some fame.

According to an expert, the NFL star used the Taylor Swift dating speculation to his advantage through a “brilliant PR strategy.”

PR expert Ryan McCormick also mentioned Travis’ brother Jason Kelce, who jokingly confirmed his younger sibling is in fact dating Taylor.

An expert said Travis Kelce’s brother Jason made a brilliant PR move by implying he was dating Taylor Swift during a radio interview.

Compared with Swift’s 94 million Twitter followers, Travis has less than a million.”

As per Social Blade statistics, Travis’ following has grown by 58.8% since the dating rumors began a month ago.

Travis has also gained fame through the use of Taylor’s name, according to the PR guru. The buzzing internet discussions about their fling only add to the confusion. 

Taylor and Travis are not currently dating, Ryan said. However, if it is true, Travis will likely acquire some of Swift’s longtime fans.

“Travis’ profile will undoubtedly be enhanced. With greater visibility, new doors will open for Travis,” the expert predicted, before giving examples, “and media interviews will focus on this.”
