Scarlett Johansson gets honest about career
Scarlett Johansson is an A-list celebrity who is confident, innovative, and strong, but even the best celebrities struggle with anxiety from time to time.
During a 2003 interview with Charlie Rose, the Marvel star admitted that she “constantly struggles” with her performances, adding that she “still sees scenes in films that I’ve done and wonders, ‘God, why did I make that choice? ’ I don’t understand why they used that take and all that.”
In explaining the pressure to avoid flops, the 38-year-old actor said, “The more successful films you make, the more pressure there is to continue making good films.”
She continued, “That’s the kind of thing that scares me.”. When you’re just starting out, you want to stand out. There’s a certain drive you possess.”
As Scarlett summarized her point, “Of course, I’m always learning.” I learn from every experience I have on and off set. It’s constantly a challenge for me to not become jaded or take a step back and see what I’m doing from a different perspective. As you work harder, that tunnel vision gets narrower and narrower.”
