Salford Red Devils have signed half-back Cade Cust on a one-year deal after his exit from Super League champions Wigan Warriors.

He joins the Red Devils as their fifth signing of the off-season and with an option for another season, the 25-year-old will be there for at least one more year.

As a member of the Wigan Warriors in 2022, he made 40 appearances for the club after joining from the NRL side Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Cust told the Salford website that he was looking forward to meeting everyone involved in the club and was looking forward to meeting everyone.

“To the fans, I would like to introduce myself as a competitor who is passionate about the game and cannot wait to represent you.”

During his first season with Wigan, Cust collected the Challenge Cup, as well as this year’s League Leaders’ Shield and Super League title that he won during this season.
