Grace Fisk has been signed by Liverpool from Women’s Super League rivals West Ham.

Matt Beard will be reunited with the centre-half after three and a half seasons at the Hammers.

After graduating from Millwall, Fisk moved to the United States to play college football.

I got a feeling from Liverpool as a club, and that’s what I got. Everything fit here, Fisk said.

He has represented England up to under-21 level and been called up to the senior squad, but has yet to be capped.

There have been numerous departures since West Ham won just six of 22 WSL games last season, including Paul Konchesky.

In the 2022-23 WSL campaign, Fisk made 20 starts for the Hammers, but turned down a new contract offer in east London.

During his two-year stint as Hammers manager from 2018 to 2020, Reds boss Beard worked with Fisk.

Beard’s passion for Liverpool, the players, and the whole project influenced Fisk’s decision to move to Merseyside.

After Natasha Flint, Jenna Clark, Mia Enderby, and Teagan Micah, the defender is Beard’s fifth signing of the summer.
