The actress split from her husband of seven years, Joe Manganiello, and is reportedly dating Justin Saliman.

The Modern Family star has been dating Saliman for “a short while, and they’ve gotten fairly close over the past few weeks,” an insider revealed.

A source told Us Weekly that for the Hollywood beauty, “the attraction is there and he’s definitely her type.”

Saliman, an orthopedic surgeon, appears unfazed by Vergara’s fame, according to the insider. According to the insider, he has been in similar circles for years.

Additionally, he treats her with nothing but respect and is a true gentleman. “She’s excited to see where things go,” an insider said of the lovebirds, who were spotted eating dinner together in Beverly Hills and sparked dating rumours.

Before his marriage to Turner, Saliman was married to the actress Bree Turner, who starred in the romantic comedy classic The Ugly Truth as well as the hit TV series Grimm.

When Turner filed for divorce from Saliman, citing “irreconcilable differences,” the two called it quits.

Over the course of their marriage, the couple welcomed two children.
