The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor has also backed out of Farhan Akhtar’s ambitious project following the rumored departure of parallel lead Priyanka Chopra.

The producers of the women-centric road trip film are now considering a few A-listers to replace Kaif, according to Bollywood magazine sources.

The reports suggest that producers are also in talks with Kiara Advani and Anushka Sharma for the hotly anticipated film. Bollywood buffs, however, believe that Deepika Padukone would be an excellent choice for the role.

Earlier this year, Bollywood actor-director Akhtar announced the launch of his next road trip project, Jee Le Zaraa in 2021, with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif as leads, while Ishaan Khatter, the rising star kid, played a pivotal role.

According to reports, Chopra backed out of the project because of scheduling conflicts due to Hollywood commitments.

The celebrated duo Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti wrote the story for ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ under Excel Entertainment.
