During her relationship with Rajput, Ankita Lokhande revealed all the films that were offered to her, but she rejected them in order to prioritize her personal life with him.

Her primary reason for declining the offer from Sanjay Leela Bhansali to star in his films ‘Ram Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’, as well as her dream debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in ‘Happy New Year’, was her excitement over getting married to her co-star.

“Sanjay [Bhansali] sir called me up for Bajirao [Mastani] and said, ‘You should do it or you will regret afterwards.'” I replied, “No sir, I want to get married.”

According to her, “I gave up on Happy New Year, Farah Khan ma’am offered me the film, and Shahrukh Khan sir said, I’ll do my best to give you the best debut. And I said, “Bhagwan, mera na ho yaar.” The only thing I want for my partner is for her to have the best (I don’t want to be in films, just want her to have the best). As a strong supporter for Sushant, I did what I could.”

I do not blame anyone, Sushant made a very clear choice. In order to continue his career, he chose his career and moved on. In the same interview, she said she dealt with so many things for two and a half years.

She was also offered lead roles in Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ and ‘Badlapur’ opposite Varun Dhawan, according to Indian media reports.

Lokhande made her Bollywood debut in 2019 in Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ as a supporting actor.

She married businessman Vicky Jain in 2021 on a personal level.

As for Sushant Singh Rajput, he committed suicide while living alone at his Bandra home in Mumbai during the lockdown. A hanging was discovered in the actor’s flat on June 14, 2020.
