Next year, Tesla plans to install 20,000 electric vehicle charging stations across 2,000 Hilton properties in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

Tesla’s move will help Hilton reattract business customers and remove a barrier to adoption.

This announcement coincides with the beginning of the business travel season.

As of next year, Tesla plans to install 20,000 electric vehicle charging stations across 2,000 Hilton properties in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

The construction of wall connectors is another way for Tesla to increase mass adoption by providing more convenient charging locations. Universal Wall Connectors can charge any North American vehicle model, not just Teslas. Keeping up with leisure and business travel demands is Hilton’s top priority.

There has been a rapid and steep increase in the number of requests for EV charging. Hilton’s chief brand officer, Matt Schuyler, told that this new agreement with Tesla aims to meet guests’ needs.

Business travel season begins with the APEC Summit, Comunicopia, and Dreamforce conferences, providing an opportunity for hotel operators to drive revenue. More Americans went overseas this summer to enjoy time in Europe, which resulted in lower hotel rates in the U.S. Analysts are watching to see if hotel brands can regain pre-pandemic bookings.
