The Bollywood star, who has been happily married to Deepika Padukone for five years now, finally revealed what his mother-in-law thought when she heard about their relationship.

As part of the promotion of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Singh spoke about Padukone’s mother, Ujjala Padukone’s reaction.

His mother-in-law was not understanding the relationship, according to the Sooryavanshi actor.

“Unke palle nahi pada ke meri mother-in-law”, he said.

After spending some time with Singh, Padukone’s mother realized his purity.

In the course of time, she discovered that he (Ranveer Singh) has a pure heart and is a good person no matter how he looks.”.

She also admitted that now he is one of her favourite people.

Now she is one of my favorite people, and I am her favorite as well.”

They fell in love after working together on Sanjay Leela Bhasali’s Ram Leela in 2012. News 18 reports that the couple dated each other for six years before getting married in Italy in November 2018.
