Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Karan Johar’s recent blockbuster, has been selected for the prestigious Busan Film Festival.

In 2023, the festival will take place from October 4 to October 13.

On his Instagram story, KJo wrote, “Feeling absolutely blessed & grateful #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahaani goes to Busan film festival.” 

At the festival, the film has been selected for the Open Cinema Section.

In addition to marking Karan Johar’s 25th year in the film industry, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil marks his comeback after directing Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016.

There was a lot of praise for RARKPK for being a typical fresh Bollywood film that also shed light on South Asian household norms regarding masculinity. 

Also starring are Dharmendar, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. KJo’s comeback is being hailed as the perfect one.

His upcoming films include Yodha with Siddharth Malhotra and Disha Patani, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi with Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, and Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam with Vicky Kaushal. In the near future, he also plans to film an action movie.
