Real Madrid returned to the top of La Liga with a 3-0 victory Jude Bellingham scored his 14th goal of the season.

He now has the most goals by any Real Madrid player in their first 15 games.

Previously, Cristiano Ronaldo, Alfredo di Stefano and Pruden shared the record of 13.

Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer and has scored 11 goals in 12 La Liga games. He has also scored three goals in the Champions League.

Despite being two points behind Girona, Real took the lead early through Brazil forward Rodrygo.

At the halfway point of the second half, he doubled Real’s lead.

The 20-year-old then fired home to seal Real’s third consecutive win, continuing his remarkable start to life in Madrid.

Despite appearing to run into a dead end inside the penalty area, Rodrygo managed to maintain possession and fire into the top corner from a wide play by the Birmingham City youth product.

During the international break, Real lost forward Vinicius Jr to injury, but fellow Brazilian Rodrygo has now scored in three straight games for Real since joining from Santos in 2019.

During the second half, Luka Modric drilled a low strike against the foot of the post and moments later assisted Rodrygo, who cut inside before shooting inside the far post.

The in-form Englishman, who was laid off by Rodrygo in the left channel, fired a left-footed strike across goal and into the bottom corner of the net.
