It was a mixed reaction from the rest of the Vegas audience after Miranda Lambert put a group of fans on blast during her concert on Saturday night.

“I’m gonna stop right here for a second. These girls are worried about their selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissin’ me off,” Lambert said motioning to an area in the crowd.

She declared, “I don’t like it at all.” To many cheers, she said, “I don’t like it at all.”. To many cheers, she said, “We’re here to hear some country music tonight, so I’m singing some country damn music.”

She motioned for the group to sit down. Before starting the song, she asked the crowd, “Shall we start again?”?

As Lambert continued to sing, the crowd responded in mixed ways. The 39-year-old was greeted with hollers, cheers, and whistles from some fans, while others left the arena in protest.

The person can be heard saying to those around her, “Let’s go. C’mon. You don’t do that to fans.” in a fan-recorded video.

Thousands of comments were left on the TikTok video by the court of public opinion.

One person asked, “What do you love about Miranda?”.

Another TikTok user was more sympathetic, writing, “Give the artists you paid tickets for your undivided attention…you don’t have to record everything.”

A majority of users were not as forgiving, offering criticism of the singer of “The House That Built Me.”.

As one person noted, “Yeah, I’d have left, f— that.”. As one person pointed out, “If you’re not going to take pictures, you shouldn’t let people use their phones. That’s ridiculous.”.

Another person commented, “I’ve seen a lot of people record their reactions to hearing their favorite song live… I feel like they were just excited, it’s completely unnecessary.”.

Another comment read, “And that’s when I’d have left.”.

Miranda Lambert called out fans for taking a selfie.

It felt like I was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit back in my place… I felt as if she was trying to portray us as young, immature and vain. But we were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.”

She believes Lambert’s reaction was sparked by recent incidents of musicians being thrown objects on stage, such as Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Kelsea Ballerini, Pink and Bebe Rexha.

After previously stating they had no comment on Calin’s statement, Lambert’s representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital.

The next performance of Lambert’s Velvet Rodeo residency will be on Wednesday.
