During his second spell as manager, Moyes has led the club to two top-seven finishes, a Europa League semi-final, and the Europa Conference League.

After taking seven points from their first three games, the Hammers are second in the Premier League.

Bowen told 5 Live Sport, “I don’t think any other manager could do what he has done for this club.”

As of December 2019, the east London club was one point and one place above the relegation zone.

With Moyes at the helm, the Hammers finished sixth, seventh and 14th last season, as well as claiming the Conference League title, their first major trophy since 1980.

Bowen, who joined from Hull in January 2020, said the club was in relegation trouble. We finished sixth and seventh in both seasons, got to a Europa League semi-final, went all the way, and won the Conference League under him.

The manager probably doesn’t get enough credit for what he has done for the club. But that’s just noise. The players respect the manager.”

The Hammers won 3-1 at Brighton on Saturday, with Bowen joining James Ward-Prowse and Michail Antonio on the scoresheet.

Since I signed, we’ve had a really good group led by the manager,” Bowen said. Every day, the manager believes in what he wants around the dressing room.

You can see what happens when everyone follows discipline and routines.”
