Ananya Panday addressed the age gap between her and Ayushmann Khurrana, her Dream Girl 2 co-star.

In a grand launch event in Mumbai recently, Panday discussed the 14-year age difference between her and Khurrana in the trailer for Dream Girl 2.

In response to a question about the age difference at the launch event, the Student of the Year 2 actress said she didn’t see it as a problem in today’s world. Her opinion is that it is perfectly acceptable.

People shouldn’t focus on their age while watching a film. The age difference has existed for centuries. If they are preoccupied with it, then it becomes a problem. Panday added, “It’s perfectly acceptable as long as two actors are appropriate for their respective roles.”

Nushratt Bharuccha has been replaced by Pati Patni Aur Woh actress along with Bareily Ki Barfi actor in Dream Girl 2.

Previously, the romantic-comedy film was scheduled to release in July. In spite of this, the makers decided to push back the release date until August 25, according to India Today.

In Dream Girl 2, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday star with Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Annu Kapoor, and Sarani.
