I was delighted to get that first wicket of Jamie Smith. He is such a good player, so I was glad to get one sliding under his bat.”

There are times when you put more pressure on yourself when you know you have a spinning wicket. However, I tried to relax because I knew the wicket would help me.”

“It was one of those games where the wicket wasn’t ideal, but we adapted.” said Birmingham Phoenix captain Moeen Ali.

“It would’ve been nice to get another ten or fifteen runs. All the games have been close, and all the teams are strong now.”

Southern Brave’s Tymal Mills, Match Hero: “That went closer than we would have liked, but I was confident that eventually we would win.

In the first year, we started slowly, but we won the whole thing in the end.”
