With Hollywood A-listers Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Hugh Jackman as guests, she’s welcoming Kelce to New York as the Chiefs play the Jets.

In Swift’s entourage were Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski, co-host of Netflix’s Queer Eye.

Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd, a committed Chiefs fan, joined Kelce on the field ahead of the game, not to be outdone by Deadpool (Reynolds) and X-Men (Jackman). The NFL account tweeted Swift – “Welcome to New York, it’s been waiting for you,” a reference to her lyrics, and shared footage of her greeting fans.

Swifties/NFL crossover has become the biggest storyline in the most popular sport in America. Despite this, the New York Jets didn’t fan any flames inside the stadium to ignite Kelce. The jumbo screens displayed every celebrity in the building except Taylor Swift. It was Jeremy Strong playing Kendall Roy in Succession who appeared twice on the screens. If it was a tactic to rein in the Chiefs, it ultimately failed as the Jets lost 23-20. Despite some Jets fans wearing “Who is Taylor Swift Anyway?” T-shirts, Kelce didn’t score a touchdown like he did last week.

Swift was frequently panned to on the television broadcast.
