According to a notification issued on Monday, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed on July 3 for the general public.

There will be no public dealing at the SBP on the 3rd July 2023 (Monday), which will be a bank holiday.

Banks, DFIs, and MFBs will be closed for public transactions on the aforementioned date. However, employees of the banks, DFIs, and MFBs will continue to work.

As a result of the new fiscal year beginning on July 1 (Saturday), Eid ul Adha’s third day will be celebrated on that day.

As a result, the holiday will now be celebrated on July 3. The banks/DFLs/MFBs will be closed to the public on this day, but not to their employees.

Government officials announced earlier that Eid would be celebrated for four days. There will be no banking on June 28-30.

Because of this, all commercial banks will also be closed on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
