The Pakistani rupee gained three paisas against the US Dollar (USD) in the interbank market on Monday, closing at Rs 286.70 versus the previous day’s closing at Rs 286.73. However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the open market buying and selling rates of dollar were Rs 289.5 and Rs 292. As per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Euro price rose by 56 paisas to close at Rs 312,22 against Rs 311.66 last day. British Pound exchange rate traded at Rs 365.18 compared to its last day’s close of Rs 364.59, an increase of Rs 0.59. The Emirates Dirham exchange rate decreased by 01 pasia to close at Rs 78.05, whereas the Saudi Riyal exchange rate increased by 01 pasia to close at Rs 76.44.
