A new Don has been revealed in the highly anticipated film Don 3, previously starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Farhan Akhtar confirmed the new movie in the hit series, confirming the King of Bollywood’s formal presence from the action-thriller. 

Don 3’s hotly anticipated teaser shows Singh playing Khan, a role played by Amitabh Bachchan in its 1978 and 2006 versions.

As for the leading lady opposite Singh in the upcoming film, Pinkvilla reports that Akhtar is eyeing Kiara Advani for the role.

Yesterday, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actor was spotted at Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, with an insider confirming that Advani gave his “verbal nod” to the director.

“Farhan Akhtar has narrated the basic plotline of Don 3 to Kiara, and she loved it,” the insider said. “Kiara has given her verbal approval.”

Her dream has always been to work with Ranveer Singh, with whom she has always wanted to work,” the source said.

In contrast, she won’t be portraying Roma, the character played by Priyanka Chopra in Shah Rukh Khan’s previous films.”

There will be new characters in the Don franchise after it has been given a fresh makeover. Kiara’s character will have negative shades, but there will be no Roma this time.”
