Jamie Foxx has friends in high places.

Foxx, 55, broke his silence on Instagram Friday after publicly admitting he went to “hell and back” following a “medical complication.”

After thanking fans for their prayers, he said, “I cannot even begin to describe how far it has taken me and how it has brought me back.”. He added, “I went through something I thought I would never, ever go through. I know a lot of people were waiting, or wanting to hear updates, and I didn’t want you to see me in that way.”.

There were numerous Hollywood stars who left comments supporting Foxx on his path to recovery, including Will Smith, The Rock, and Reese Witherspoon.

Foxx’s Instagram reel received more than one million likes in less than 15 hours after it was posted online, thanks to Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock.

The former WWE wrestler wrote, “I’m gonna bear hug you when I see you again.”.

“I’m so glad to see you back, my brother,” wrote LL Cool J.

Will Smith wrote, “Awww man!! Who’s cutting onions?.”. “Love you Foxx!! Your light is needed and appreciated!”

In 2001, Foxx and Smith collaborated on the biographical sports drama “Ali.”.

EGOT Viola Davis wrote, “God is GOOD!!!!!!!! Sending love Jamie.” Her sentiment was echoed by Steve Harvey, who wrote, “Thank GOD for Grace. All love bruh.”

Foxx presented Witherspoon with her Oscar at the 2006

“Oh Jamie! So happy to see your light shining so brightly!” wrote Reese Witherspoon. It was Foxx who presented her with her Academy Award in 2006, after he had won the best actor award a year earlier for “Ray.” She added, “You are so loved and appreciated!”

“Ray” star Michael Rapaport shared a slew of red heart emojis with Justin Timberlake and Michael B. Jordan.

As musician Sisqo reminded Foxx, “the dragon is always around if I’m ever on your call log because I will never forget us singing together on my porch in California.”

Supermodel Ashley Graham added, “We all love you Jamie! God is so good!” Garcelle Beauvois added, “We all love you Jamie. God is great!”.

“Sex and the City” star Kristin Davis wrote, “We love you Jamie!!!! Thank you for the protection your family gave you. Know that we love you and respect you for EVERYTHING you are.”

Lance Gross shared, “We love you man! It’s not often we get second chances like this. I hope you feel it!”

As of recent, Jamie has slowly made his way back into the public eye after suffering a medical complication in April.

“I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking jokes, doing a movie, a television show,” Foxx said. There was no way I wanted you to see me with tubes running out of me and wondering if I would survive.”

His sister Deidra Dixon and daughter Corinne Foxx saved his life, Foxx said.

It feels fantastic to have your family come to the rescue in such a way. Ya’ll know it was airtight. They didn’t let anything out. They protected me, and that’s what I hope everyone can experience when times like these arise.”

According to Eddie Griffin, “Respect you and your family for keeping it quiet. Healing is a quiet process.”

The “In Living Color” star was also supported by Alex Rodriguez and Michael Strahan.
