According to Israeli security forces, three Palestinian militants were killed near Jenin camp in the occupied West Bank.

According to the Israeli army, the group was preparing an attack, and an automatic rifle was found in their vehicle.

One of those killed was a member of Islamic Jihad, which vowed a “strong response” from the resistance.

On Sunday, an Israeli security guard was fatally shot by a Palestinian gunman in Tel Aviv. The attacker was killed by another guard.

Jenin is where he is said to have come from.

An armed Jewish settler shot dead a young Palestinian man in a Palestinian village on Friday.

In Jenin, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the security forces’ actions, saying: “We will continue to take action wherever and whenever necessary.”

Last month, Israel conducted a major operation in the Jenin camp.

The perpetrators of these horrific crimes in Jenin would not have committed them if they didn’t feel safe from punishment, according to Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh.

Israel will not escape paying the price for the deaths, according to Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian reports said the youngest victim was 15 years old.

A 19-year-old Palestinian man was killed by extremist settlers in a West Bank village on Friday night. Two settlers were arrested at the time, according to Israeli police. A former spokesman for the ultranationalist Jewish Power party, whose leader is National Security Minister in Mr Netanyahu’s government, is among those being held.

Five Palestinians were also arrested in connection with the incident overnight on Sunday.

IDF spokeswoman said on Monday that a rise in “nationalistic crime and terrorism” has pushed Palestinians “who are not involved in terrorism, toward terrorism”, according to Israeli news site Yediot Ahronot.

His comments echo those of the head of Israel’s domestic intelligence agency Shin Bet, who warned Mr Netanyahu that “Jewish terror incites Palestinian terror”. The warning was issued before Friday, according to the company.

Despite Israel’s far-right government’s aggressive stance, Washington condemned the latest settler attack as terrorism.
