Investigation started into Swift concert organizer after fan’s death 23-year-old Ana Clara passed away during Taylor Swift’s concert in Brazil.

As a result of the death of Ana Clara Benevides, 23-year-old Taylor Swift concert organizers in Rio de Janeiro have been investigated by Brazilian police.

Swift’s fan, who lost consciousness during a concert on November 17 amid sweltering temperatures, is the subject of the investigation.

Through its consumer delegation’s department, Rio de Janeiro’s Civil Police Department has opened an investigation into “the crime of endangering the life and health of concertgoers.”

“Event organizers will be called to testify, and other steps are underway to investigate the facts,” said a spokesperson.

Swift’s Brazil concert amid Eras tour led to Benevides’ tragic death after he suffered a cardiac arrest due to the intense heat, multiple media outlets reported.

During the match, she collapsed in the front row, was revived for about 40 minutes, and suffered another heart attack on the way to the hospital. Unfortunately, she did not survive.

Swift wrote, “I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but I must say we lost a fan earlier today before my show.” in a heartbreaking Instagram post.

As she said, “I can’t even begin to express how devastated I am. There’s very little information I have at this point except that she was beautiful and so young.”
