On Monday, Pakistan thanked Chinese financial institutions for their cooperation with Pakistan.

Ms Pang Chunxue, the Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, was thanked on Monday by Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar for the timely support provided by the financial institutions in China to Pakistan. Shehbaz Sharif also noted that China provided Pakistan with a rollover of five billion dollars before the IMF deal. China has always helped Pakistan in difficult times, and the nation will never forget the latest support from China. Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar welcomed the Charge d’Affaires and appreciated the deep rooted historical bilateral relations between Pakistan and China. According to the finance minister, Pakistan has reached a staff level agreement with the IMF on the 9th review.
