Biden’s strong economy feels so bad to most Americans

The American economy is doing much better than it was nearly three years ago, when President Joe Biden took office. According to SSRS’ poll, 58% of respondents believe Biden’s policies have made economic conditions worse.

Compared to last year, that’s an increase of 50%.

Hard data, however, reveal an economy bursting with optimism, contrary to the grim outlook.

Do you think the economy has improved under Joe Biden? According to Justin Wolfers, a professor of public policy and economics at the University of Michigan, there’s literally no question.

According to Wolfers, everything sucked in January 2021, when Biden’s term began. As of 2007, unemployment was 6.3%, and the economy had yet to recover from the shock of Covid-19. At that time, Wolfers described it as “one of the worst economic times of my life.”

It has been two and a half years since the US economy was in such bad shape.

Over the past 18 months, unemployment has been hovering near its lowest level in 50 years – about 3.5%. Job growth continued in August for the 32nd consecutive month.
